Η Αποστολική Διακονία κυκλοφόρησε με νέα εικονογράφηση από τη σειρά «Παιδικοί Ορίζοντες», το βιβλίο «Η Μαργαρίτα το Μπλε και το Άσπρο» της Κασσιανής Πανουτσοπούλου. Το βιβλίο περιέχει συνοδευτικό CD με τη Θεατρική Διασκευή του Τάκη Χρυσούλη και με ηθοποιούς από το Ινστιτούτο Παιδαγωγικού Θεάτρου. Τα τραγούδια και η μουσική είναι του Γιώργου Βούκανου, η σκηνοθεσία είναι του Άλκη Ζερβού, ενώ την εικονογράφηση έκανε η Όλγα Κοτσιρέα. Φιλική συμμετοχή τής Άννας Καλουτά.
Η συγγραφέας περιγράφει τις εμπειρίες ενός παιδιού, που η κήρυξη του πολέμου το 1940 το βρίσκει στο Δημοτικό. Το μεγάλο γεγονός του Β΄ Παγκοσμίου πολέμου δίνεται από το στόμα του παιδιού αυτού. Το μήνυμα που μεταδίδει είναι μια κραυγή προβληματισμού από τον κόσμο των μικρών στον κόσμο των μεγάλων. Είναι ένα βιβλίο με μεγάλη φρεσκάδα, που συγκινεί και προβληματίζει.

Το Τέλος ενός Θρύλου
της Αγγελικής Νικολοπούλου,
με συνοδευτικό CD και με τη συμμετοχή της Μαριώς

Η Αποστολική Διακονία κυκλοφόρησε με νέα εικονογράφηση το βιβλίο «Το Τέλος ενός Θρύλου» της Αγγελικής Νικολοπούλου. Η συγγραφέας περιγράφει την ιστορία της μικρής Άρτεμης που περνά μια ειρηνική και ευτυχισμένη ζωή, κοντά στους δικούς της, μέχρι που ξεσπά η Μικρασιατική Καταστροφή, οπότε απαγάγεται από το φοβερό Αλήμπεη για να αρχίσει η περιπέτειά της, παράλληλα με κείνη του ξεριζωμένου Ελληνισμού, που αποκορυφώνεται με το μαρτυρικό τέλος του Μητροπολίτου Σμύρνης Χρυσοστόμου. Μέσα στις σελίδες του βιβλίου, όπου η ειρήνη και ο πόλεμος πλέκονται με τρόπο αριστοτεχνικό, θα ζήσει ο αναγνώστης μια από τις πιο σημαντικές στιγμές της Ελληνικής Ιστορίας…

Κυκλοφορείται από τις εκδόσεις της Αποστολικής Διακονίας της Εκκλησίας της Ελλάδος, ο δεύτερος τόμος του έργου ‘'Νομοκανονικές Απαντήσεις, σε ερωτήματα εξωτερικής Ιεραποστολής'' του Ομοτίμου Καθηγητού του Πανεπιστημίου Αθηνών, κ. Παναγιώτου Ι. Μπούμη.
Στον πρόλογο της εκδόσεως σημειώνει ο καθηγητής: «Η πορεία προς τα έθνη συνεχίζεται. Η εντολή του Κυρίου ‘'πορευθέντες μαθητεύσατε πάντα τα έθνη'' (Ματθ. 28,19) συνεχίζει να ισχύει ακόμη, αφού δεν ολοκληρώθηκε…
Σ' αυτήν τη συνεχή προσπάθεια επίσης θέλει να συμβάλει και η στήλη των ‘'Νομοκανονικών'' στο μέτρο των δυνατοτήτων της, απαντώντας σε καίριες νομοκανονικές ερωτήσεις της καθόλου ιεραποστολικής δραστηριότητας. Αυτά τα Νομοκανονικά σημειώματα αποβλέπουν στην, κατά το δυνατόν, ορθή ερμηνεία και διερεύνηση της εφαρμογής των εντολών της Κεφαλής της Εκκλησίας, του Ιησού Χριστού. Ο ίδιος ο Κύριος υπέδειξε στους Αποστόλους και υποδεικνύει στους ιεραποστόλους να ‘'διδάσκουν τα έθνη να τηρούν τις εντολές Του'' (Ματθ. 28,20), οι οποίες συντελούν και βοηθούν τους πιστούς στην ‘'κατά Χριστόν'' πολιτεία. Διότι ‘'ουκ αρκεί το βάπτισμα και τα δόγματα, ει μη και πολιτεία προσείη'' (Ευθύμιος Ζιγαβηνός), τ.ε. εάν δεν τα συνοδεύει και ο ανάλογος βίος».

The Apostolic Diakonia has published a new illustrated episode in the framework of the “Children' s Horizons” series: “Margarita, the Blue & the White”, a book by Kassiani Panoutsopoulou. The book is accompanied by a CD which contains the story's Theatrical Version adapted by Takis Chrysoulis and performed by actors of the Institute of Pedagogical Theater. The songs and music have been composed by Georgios Voukanos; the direction is the work of Alkis Zervos; and the illustrations are the artwork of Olga Kotsirea. There is also a friendly cameo appearance by Anna Kalouta.In the book, the writer describes the experiences of a child which the declaration of the war of 1940 finds in Elementary School. This significant event, World War II, is rendered through the words of that very child. The message conveyed is a cry of concern from the world of the young to the world of adults. The book, handling the subject from a fresh angle, is poignant and raises questions.

The Apostolic Diakonia of the Church of Greece has published the second volume of “Nomocanonical Answers to Queries Pertinent to the Overseas Mission”, the work of University of Athens Professor Emeritus, Mr Panagiotis I. Boumis.
In the publication's prologue, Professor Boumis notes: “The journey towards the nations continues. The Lord's command: “therefore go and make disciples of all nations,” (Mathew 28:19) is still in strength since it has not been fulfilled as yet…
It is precisely to this ongoing endeavour that the column of the “Nomocanonicals” would like to contribute by answering crucial nomocanonical queries pertaining to the mission's entire body of activity. These Nomocanonical notes, as best as they can, aim at befittingly interpreting and probing into the application of the commands given by the Head of the Church, Jesus Christ. It was the Lord Himself who pointed out to the Apostles and is now pointing out to the missionaries: “teach the nations to obey everything I have commanded you” (Mathew 28:20), thus referring to commands which are instrumental in assisting the faithful to conduct their life “according to Christ” since, as Euthymius Zegabenus has noted, “baptism and dogmas suffice not, if not accompanied by the appropriate conduct in life.”
