A visit to Children's Hospital "Aglaia Kyriakou by Apostoliki Diakonia
A visit to Children's Hospital "Aglaia Kyriakou", was held by a delegation of the missionary and publishing organization of the Apostoliki Diakonia of the Church of Greece, under the His Most Revt, Bishop of Fanarion Mr. Agathaggelos, Director General, together with managers and board members of the employees of Apostoliki Diakonia, and the Holy Synod, offering moments of human warmth in hospitalized children, needing to feel love and the Christmas spirit.
During the visit, Christmas books and symbolic gifts were given to the little ones, under the melodies of the children's choir of St. Athanasius Polydrosou that sang carols and Christmas songs. Followed by a meeting with the doctors, nurses, hospital staff and the President of the Board of Trustees of the Hospital, Mr. Harris Tompouloglou, at the end of which the Bishop of Fanarion Mr. Agathangelos, highlighted the following:
“We transferred to children and their families the blessings of the Archbishop, Mr. Ieronymos, along with all our best wishes for good health and blessed holidays.
The children today offered us the greatest blessing - their smile - under this difficult period of time of ordeal. We will always be with you and we will do our best so as to help you as much as we can."
