Η Αποστολική Διακονία, στο πλαίσιο του πολυσχιδούς κατηχητικού και εκδοτικού έργου της, βρίσκεται στην ευχάριστη θέση να γνωστοποιήσει στο αναγνωστικό κοινό ότι κατά τις προσεχείς ημέρες θα εκδόσει το έργο του Ομότιμου Κοσμήτορα του Ορθοδόξου Σεμιναρίου του Αγ. Βλαδίμηρου π. Θωμά Χόπκο « Η Ορθόδοξη πίστη ». Το έργο θα εκδοθεί σε δύο πολυσέλιδους τόμους: ο πρώτος πραγματεύεται το ορθόδοξο Δόγμα, μέσω σχολίων στο Σύμβολο της Πίστεως, και στην Λατρεία με ερμηνεία του λατρευτικού βίου της Εκκλησίας. Ο δεύτερος τόμος είναι αφιερωμένος στη βιβλική ερμηνεία, στα σημαντικότερα γεγονότα της ιστορίας του Χριστιανισμού, καθώς και στην ορθόδοξη πνευματικότητα.

Νέα αναθεωρημένη έκδοση του «Αρχιερατικού»

Στη σειρά των λειτουργικών βιβλίων της Αποστολικής Διακονίας εκδίδεται και κυκλοφορείται το αναθεωρημένο «Αρχιερατικόν», με ευθύνη της Ειδικής Συνοδικής Επιτροπής Λειτουργικής Αναγεννήσεως. Το βιβλίο περιλαμβάνει τις Θείες Λειτουργίες του αγίου Ιωάννου του Χρυσοστόμου, του Μεγάλου Βασιλείου, των Προηγιάσμενων, τα ιερά μυστήρια της Ιερωσύνης και του Γάμου, πλείστες άλλες Ακολουθίες και περιστατικές Ευχές, ενώ κοσμείται από εξαιρετικά καλαίσθητες τετράχρωμες εικόνες, βινιέτες και αρχιγράμματα.

Η Αποστολική Διακονία έχει την τιμή να αναρτήσει για πρώτη φορά στο διαδίκτυο το σύνολο των πρακτικών της Γ΄ Προσυνοδικής Πανορθοδόξου Διασκέψεως που έλαβε χώρα το 1986 στο Ορθόδοξο Κέντρο του Οικουμενικού Πατριαρχείου στο Σαμπεζύ Γενεύης. Η σπουδαιότητα των κειμένων έγκειται στο γεγονός ότι θα αποτελέσουν τη βάση των συζητήσεων της Διασκέψεως της Ειδικής Πανορθοδόξου Επιτροπής που θα λάβει χώρα από 29 Σεπτεμβρίου μέχρι 4 Οκτωβρίου στο Σαμπεζύ Γενεύης και θα συμμετάσχουν οι αντιπρόσωποι των ανά τον κόσμο Ορθοδόξων Εκκλησιών.

Με τη χάρη του Θεού συνεχίζεται και εφέτος το ιδιαίτερα επιτυχημένο πρόγραμμα εκμάθησης της ελληνικής γλώσσας της Αποστολικής Διακονίας στο Pontificio Istituto Orientale της Ρώμης, με την εισαγωγή, για πρώτη φορά, και τρίτου επιπέδου ελληνικών. Η έναρξη των μαθημάτων θα γίνει στις 6 Οκτωβρίου. Αξίζει να σημειωθεί ότι στις εξετάσεις πιστοποίησης ελληνομάθειας που έγιναν στη Ρώμη τον περασμένο Μάιο από το Κέντρο Ελληνικής Γλώσσας της Θεσσαλονίκης, συμμετείχαν 51 φοιτητές και των δύο επιπέδων, η συντριπτική πλειοψηφία των οποίων έλαβε το βαθμό «άριστα», αποδεικνύοντας έτσι τον ζήλο τόσο των διδασκομένων όσο και του διδάσκοντος του προγράμματος.

Έναρξη των μαθημάτων Κατήχησης και Ελληνικής νοηματικής γλώσσας

Ο Τομέας κατηχήσεως & Ορθοδόξου μαρτυρίας της Αποστολικής Διακονίας γνωστοποιεί στους ενδιαφερόμενους ότι τα μαθήματα καταρτίσεως στελεχών κατηχήσεως για το νέο διδακτικό έτος θα ξεκινήσουν στις 4 Οκτωβρίου, ενώ τα μαθήματα εκμαθήσεως της νοηματικής γλώσσας στις 9 Οκτωβρίου. The Apostoliki Diakonia, in its multifarious framework, of its Catechism and Publication activities, is pleased to inform its faithful audience that in the coming days will issue the work of the Dean Emeritus of the Orthodox Seminar, of the Saint Vladimir Rev. Chopko Thomas, " The Orthodox Faith."
The project will be issued in two multipage books: the first deals with the Orthodox Doctrine, through comments in the Creed and Confession of our faith, with interpretation of devotional life of the Church.
The second book is devoted to the biblical interpretation, the most important events in the history of Christianity and to the Orthodox spirituality.

 

A revised edition of the "Archieraticon".  

In the series of the liturgical books published by the Apostoliki Diakonia, a revised version of the " Archieraticon ," is published in accordance with the guidelines and the responsibility of the Special Synodical Committee for Liturgical Rebirth .
The book contains the Divine Liturgy of St John the Chrysostome, Basil the Great, the Pre-sanctified, the sacred mysteries of the Priesthood and Marriage, a number of other Divine Services and circumstantial prayers.
The publication is adorned with a wonderful photographs, vignettes and "archigrammata" (drop caps).

The Apostoliki Diakonia has the honour to be the first to post to the internet all the proceedings of the III Preconciliar Pan-Orthodox Conference held in 1986 at the Orthodox Centre of the Ecumenical Patriarchate in Geneva that took place in Chambesy Geneva.
The importance of texts, is that it will form the basis for discussions in the Pan-Orthodox Conference of the Special Committee which will take place from September 29nth until October 4 2014, in Chambesy of Geneva and will involve representatives of the worldwide Orthodox Churches.

By the grace of God, this year, The Apostoliki Diakonia of the Church of Greece, continues the highly successful course in the Greek language at the Pontificio Istituto Orientale in Rome, introducing for the first time, after the extensive willingness and demand of our students, a third level regarding the Greek language.
The course will start on October 6th.
It is worth noting that the Greek language Certification examinations made in Rome last May, from the Greek Language Centre of Thessaloniki, 51 students participated for both levels, the vast majority of whom received the grade "excellent", demonstrating the commitment and passion of both student and the instructor for the success of program.

 

Start of Catechism lessons and Greek sign language

The department of Catechism and Orthodox testimony of the Apostoliki Diakakonia, informs and notifies the parties that the training courses for catechists for the new academic year will begin on October 4th and classes of the learning sign language on October 9th.
