ΔΕΛΤΙΟ ΤΥΠΟΥ

Παρουσία του Θεοφιλεστάτου Επισκόπου Φαναρίου κ. Αγαθαγγέλου, εκπροσώπου του Μακαριωτάτου Αρχιεπισκόπου Αθηνών και πάσης Ελλάδος κ. Ιερωνύμου και Γεν. Διευθυντή του Οργανισμού της Αποστολικής Διακονίας της Εκκλησίας της Ελλάδος, πραγματοποιήθηκε στον Ι. Ναό της Αγίας Βαρβάρας του ομωνύμου δήμου Αττικής, η τελετή λήξεως των Σχολών Κατήχησης και Εκμάθησης της Νοηματικής γλώσσας της Αποστολικής Διακονίας. Αρχικά ο Θεοφιλέστατος συνεχάρη όλους όσοι συνέβαλαν και εφέτος στην άψογη διοργάνωση των Σεμιναρίων των δύο Σχολών και εξήρε τον ζήλο των σπουδαστών. Την τελετή συνέχισε με προσφώνησή του ο υπεύθυνος του Γραφείου Κατηχήσεως και Νεότητος κ. Ιωάννης Βιδάλης, ο οποίος ευχαρίστησε τη διοίκηση της Αποστολικής Διακονίας, τους συνεργάτες του Οργανισμού, τους διδάσκοντες των Σχολών και τους φοιτητές. Στη συνέχεια, η χορωδία της Σχολής Κατήχησης, υπό τη διεύθυνση του καθηγητού βυζαντινής μουσικής και ιεροψάλτου κ. Ηλία Φραγκάκη, έψαλε ύμνους και παραδοσιακά τραγούδια με τη συνοδεία μουσικών οργάνων. Ακολούθως, οι τελειόφοιτοι του Σεμιναρίου της Νοηματικής Γλώσσας απέδωσαν στην ελληνική νοηματική, με τη βοήθεια χειρομορφών, κείμενα από την Αγία Γραφή, τους Πατέρες και την Υμνολογία της Εκκλησίας μας. Ακολούθησε η ομιλία του εκπροσώπου των καθηγητών κ. Εμμανουήλ Περσελή, Καθηγ. της Θεολογικής Σχολής του Πανεπιστημίου Αθηνών, ο οποίος τόνισε τη σπουδαιότητα του έργου της Κατήχησης μέσα στην ενορία, την κυψέλη της Εκκλησίας, και τη σημασία του κατηχητή ως προτύπου της ορθοδόξου ηθικής στη ζωή της σύγχρονης ενορίας. Έπειτα ακολούθησε η ομιλία του εκπροσώπου των αποφοίτων Κατηχητών κ. Σταύρου Αθανασάτου, ο οποίος εξήρε τα πνευματικά οφέλη και την επιστημονική πληρότητα του Προγράμματος, ευχαρίστησε όλους όσοι συνέβαλαν στην οργάνωση και ολοκλήρωσή του, ενώ αναφέρθηκε στις αρχές και τις αξίες του κατηχητή και στην ανάγκη της ενεργούς συμμετοχής του στον λειτουργικό βίο της Εκκλησίας. Η κα Ουρανία Παναγιωτοπούλου, μιλώντας ως εκπρόσωπος των σπουδαστών της Νοηματικής γλώσσας, τόνισε τη σημασία της λειτουργίας του Σεμιναρίου, καθώς ο σκοπός του είναι να βοηθήσει την επικοινωνία των σπουδαστών με τους συνανθρώπους μας, οι οποίοι στερούνται το χάρισμα της ακοής και απηύθυνε πρόσκληση συμμετοχής των σπουδαστών-σπουδαστριών στα Επιμορφωτικά Σεμινάρια. Η όμορφη πανηγυρική εκδήλωση ολοκληρώθηκε με τον σύντομο λόγο του πρωτοπρ. Λεωνίδη Ψαριανού, Διευθυντή Διοικητικού-Οικονομικού της Αποστολικής Διακονίας, σχετικά με τη σπουδαιότητα και αναγκαιότητα της κατήχησης των νέων σε συνάρτηση με τα εφαρμοζόμενα προγράμματα στην εκπαίδευση, την παραλαβή αναμνηστικών δώρων από τους καθηγητές για την προσφορά τους και την απονομή βεβαιώσεων σπουδών και αναμνηστικών δώρων στους αποφοίτους των Σχολών.

With the presence of his Grace, the Bishop of Fanarion Agathangelos, as a representative of His Beatitude the Archbishop of Athens and All Greece Ieronymos II, and General Director of the Organization of Apostoliki Diakonia was held at the Holy church of St. Barbara of the same named municipality of Attica, the closing ceremony of the Catechism Schools and Sign Language. In the beginning the Bishop congratulated everyone who contributed this year to the excellent organization of the Seminars of the two schools and praised the zeal of students. The ceremony continued by Mr. John Vidalis, Supervisor of the Department of Catechism, who thanked the Administration of Apostoliki Diakonia, the employees of the Organization, the teachers of the schools and as well the students. Following his speech, the choir of the Catechism School, under the direction of the Professor of Byzantine music and singer of ecclesiastical hymns, Mr. Elias Fragakis, chant hymns and traditional songs accompanied by musical instruments. Subsequently, the undergraduates of the Seminar of the Sign Language, performed in the Greek Sign Language, texts from the Holy Bible, the Fathers and Hymns of our Orthodox Church. The speech of the representative of the teachers Mr. Emmanuel Perselis, Professor of the Theological School of the University of Athens, stressed the importance of the work of the catechists as a role model of the Orthodox morality in the life of the modern parish, the cell of the Church. Then, the speech by the representative of the Catechist graduates Mr. Stavros Athanassatos, followed, which praised the spiritual benefits and the scientific integrity of the program, thanked everyone who contributed to the organization and completion of the seminars, and stressed the principles and values of the catechist and the necessity of actively participation in the moral and liturgical life of our Church. Then, Mrs. Ourania Panayotopoulos speaking as a student representative of the Sign Greek Language stressed the importance of the functioning of the sign language, and its purpose to help the students to communicate with our fellow human beings who lack the gift of hearing and extended an invitation to the students to participate in the Seminars. The beautiful event ended with a short speech of Archpriest Leonides Psarianos, Director of Administration and Finance of the Apostoliki Diakonia, on the importance and necessity of Catechism for young people in relation to the current program in education, the memento gifts to the teachers for their contribution and the presentation of certificates with memento gifts to the students.
