DIVISION OF BOOK PROMOTION AND SALES AUDIOVISUAL SYSTEMS

The scope of the Division includes:

• Organizing and editing the material posted on Apostoliki Diakonia's website.
• Operating and organizing the e-bookstore's publications and the presentations of new publications.
• Operating Apostoliki Diakonia's STUDIO, audio recordings, and technical processing of promotional messages and other audio productions (CDs).
• Organizing and staffing the booths at Book Exhibitions Apostoliki Diakonia participates in.
• Processing the promotional messages to be conveyed through the Mass Media.
• Compiling advertising printed material promoting the publications of Apostoliki Diakonia (publications catalogue; brochures regarding offers; misc.).
• Enriching, on an ongoing basis, “Porfyrogennitos”, a multi-lingual e-library, by adding rare articles and studies; and compiling topical special editions.
• The task of dispatching “Phoni Kyriou” [The Lord's Voice]. “Phoni Kyriou” is printed in 20,000,000 copies annually with contents which are catechetical. It is distributed gratis every Sunday, care of the Holy Metropolis and Churches, at the parishes of the country and of the Greeks of the Diaspora.
• Participating and being present at Book Exhibitions.
• Pastoral and catechetical offers – funds for the dissemination of the Holy Bible.
  The New Testament, various books, and printed matter are distributed (gratis) by the thousands to Holy Metropolis; Hospitals; Parishes; Libraries in border regions; Conferences; Pupils; University students; Schools; Libraries; the Religious Services of the Armed Forces and Hellenic Police; Associations; and other entities.
• Scholarships
  Scholarships are available for undergraduate and postgraduate studies in Greece.
• Publication of printed matterial promoting Greece's ecclesiastical monuments.
• Collaborating with the Office of European Programs towards for the creation of a digital database on ecclesiastical monuments and ecclesiastical cultural heritage.
• Enriching Europeana, Europe's cultural digital library.
