Preface

It is with great pleasure that I am writing an introduction to this book on the Orthodox saints of Great Britain.
To us, the Orthodox people of this country, they are very important; father Paissios used to say that Orthodoxy would flourish here, when we start honouring our own, British, saints. Therefore, we are happy that our Greek brothers will better know them.

May God's blessings be on this book and its readers. Archimandrite John H. Maitland Moir
