DIVISION OF EUROPEAN AND CULTURAL PROGRAMS

The Division of European and Cultural Programs is responsible for the following:

• The participation of Apostoliki Diakonia in European programs of a social and cultural nature.
• The Modern Greek Language Program at the Pontifical Oriental Institute of the Roman Catholic Church, Rome. The program is part of the Pontifical Oriental Institute’s Study Guide.
• Safeguarding and renewing the Quality Management System applying to Apostoliki Diakonia ‘ s operational systems which is based on the ISO Certification Standard and on the Managerial Competence System for co-funded NSRF Projects , ELOT Standard, Types B and C .
• Publishing printed matter promoting Greece ‘s ecclesiastical monuments.
• Collaboration with the Audiovisual Division towards the creation of a digital database on ecclesiastical monuments and ecclesiastical cultural heritage.
• Enriching Europeana , Europe’s cultural digital library.
• Making available scholarships for postgraduate studies in theology abroad.
• Offering translation support to the various services of the organization.
